HR at work wouldn't tell me officially on the phone but she said it is unlikely with the schedule changes going on that I will be offered to keep my weekend doubles. So here we go again. Back to 5 days a week. The kids get to go back to daycare just in time for cold and flu season, yeah baby!!!! (NOT)
This is going to be a budget buster and things are going to get very tight, I am even thinking of not doing the braces, but am afraid if I don't that my two front bottom teeth will get worn down to nubs (not a great look). As Dave Ramsey says , if you can't cut expenses you have to increase income. I think I am going to have to try to work extra.....I have an interview for a full time day job at a place 20 minutes north of here on Wednesday and I am also resubmitting my application to the county for employment at their nursing home, they offered me a job the last time I was looking but they only had 3-11 shifts, so I am hoping between these two places, that I will have a new full time job by next week. The new schedule at work ( that will not include me) will start 10/26 so I have 4 weeks of work left to get this all figured out. I do know that Little Travlers day care has space for them and that is where Colin goes for preschool so they know my kids very well there and the kids like it so that is one less problem. Brandon will also have a guaranteed daycare spot there on the days that kindergarten is closed. (for extra $$$ of course) Seems like school is always closed for some dumb reason these days.....
A few positives among all the negative, I will not be working EVERY weekend (which Chris and the boys will like) unless I am picking up extra, and when I do work weekends I will be home by 4pm. I will have one day off a week by myself (again, that is if I am not having to work extra to make ends meet)to get things done or to have appointments and such.
On the other hand there will be no time for coupons, no time to exersise, no time to clean.......this is not going to be fun, but maybe I will take what ever full time days I can for now, and keep looking for weekend doubles elsewhere. BOy do I hate getting up at 5:30 am.
I am leaving this stupid a$$ company, I was hired for doubles, then they took them away, then I got them back now they are taking them away again. All in two years....
This post is a train wreck to try to read, but I am rambling.....
