I am home
I am tired and very sore, but sooooo glad to be home and to know that most of my fears did not get realized. No ventitalor, no NG tube and getting the chest tube out was gross but quick. There is no real comfortable positions but I do what I can with placing pillows around me. When I am feeling a bit stronger I may try to write out the experience day by day, as much as I can remember. I am feeling very bad right now for my Uncle, he was diagonsed with esophageal cancer in december and that was the reason I had my tumor checked on, and now after chemo and radiation he has found out that he has liver cancer too. Pray for him.

Hi Jen, I would simply start with writing your thoughts daily now, and if time permits (and memory) go back and recapture what you can.
Glad you are home and recuping!!
