Weighing myself
I only plan to post an "official" weight every Friday or Saturday morning, but as a sneak preview this morning I was 239.5. We got the treadmill fixed by doing some research online and tightening the drive belt, thank god it was not my weight stressing it out. Seems to work good now, so today will be my first real day on it. I heard from my dear sweet sister about a program called couch to 5K so I think I may try it. Chris is going to be doing a 10k in April but maybe by October I can enter in a 5 or 10k. Gotta have goals right? The thing about the couch to 5k program is that on the first week they have you running 60 second resting 90 and doing that for 20 minutes. Sound kinda grueling for just getting off the couch. I am not even sure I can run for one minute straight, as sad as the truth is......but I am sure as hell gonna try today, I will post later how I did.

I got back on my elliptical today, after far too long of using it only sporadically. I'm trying to remind myself that it gets easier with time, and you'll perform every session a little bit better than the last one. Right now I almost wish I had a treadmill instead of an elliptical... I'd love to join you in this couch to 5k thing. The elliptical just isn't the same as running. But when it gets warm, maybe we can get together sometime on your weekends off and try jogging together?
I wish you would start blogging again with me.....
